CareSource funds UMADAOP of Dayton and Compris’ partnership to combat loneliness, social isolation, and substance misuse for adults aged 55+.
Nationally recognized nonprofit health plan, CareSource has donated $100,000 to UMADAOP of Dayton, to partner with Compris. Compris is a digital health intervention for behavioral health and addictions. The gift will further support efforts to combat the growing epidemic of social isolation and loneliness often linked to substance misuse and other behavioral health challenges.
Executive Director Dr. Marketa Robinson, Ph.D, said, “Older adults are at a higher risk for social isolation, substance misuse and other risk factors that may impact their quality of life. This project will be an asset to helping improve the quality of life for older adults.”
Compris and UMADAOP are perfect companions, dedicated to building healthy communities for people with mental health concerns and addictions. UMADAOP’s proven programming combined with Compris, delivers both the roadmap and support resources for greater resilience and lasting health and wellness.
We are proud to partner with UMADAOP of Dayton to:
